The Adewale Temitope Adedeji Educational Initiatives (ATA- EI) has become an institution for promoting education and support for indigent students and especially incapacitated parents in Ifako Ijaiye.
Today, Friday 13th January 2023 witnessed a mammoth turn out of students from the ages of 16 years troop out to the venue of the screening for the 2023 ATA - EI free UTME free forms.
The screening is part of the procedure to ensure that only qualified students according to JAMB instructions are enrolled for the examination.
Speaking during the orientation, the coordinator of the program, Comr. Kolawole Hassan ( Ababio) gave the statistics of the progression of the initiative from its inception in 2019 when the first 350 free forms were rolled out. He hinted that there has been an increase in the subsequent years such that in 2021, 500 forms were given, in 2022,750 and now 1,000 forms.
Some of the parents and students expressed their gratitude to Hon. Adewale for his kind gesture and his consistency in ensuring that the welfare and the education of the student are given top priority in the Ifako ijaiye constituency.
The programs which is aimed at accommodating 1,000 qualified students already witnessed about 1354 students on DAY ONE of the screening tests. The second phase of the screening will take place TOMORROW MORNING (10am - 4pm) at the same venue.
Part of the criteria for the qualified students is that they are required to generate their profile code as that would be required for the purchase of a pin for their registration with the examination body.
Tomorrow is another, let those that are unable to participate to attend tomorrow, Saturday between 10am -4pm.
